Ajay Sharma is President and CEO of Kaptia. His 16 years of global IT & Risk Management consulting experience includes work for Arthur Andersen and KPMG. At Arthur Andersen, he was responsible for risk management, product development and software process management specific to financial services. He led a number of groundbreaking e-business projects across the globe. At KPMG he was responsible for business process management and product development for major global clients in Europe. Ajay holds a Bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics, a Bachelors degree in Applied Physics, a Masters degree in Computer Science and a Masters degree in Business Administration.

John Duvall comes to Kaptia with over 21 years of experience in engineering, marketing and business development roles from early stage and high growth software businesses to fortune 50 clients. As Kaptia's Vice President of Product Management he is responsible for corporate products and services. Prior to Kaptia, John worked as Vice President - Applications at JP Morgan Chase. He managed the development of JP Morgan Chase's core International and Domestic fund transfer reconciliation solution and was a key player in the Bank One and JP Morgan Chase merger activities. John led the application integration effort of the Amoco and BP merger. He has implemented projects at CNA insurance, Zurich Kemper Financial, Discover Financial and MCI Telecommunication. John is a veteran and received multiple awards while serving in the US Navy, including the Kuwait Liberation Medal for his services during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. John earned a Bachelors degree in Computer Science.

Hope Thomas, Technical Advisor

Ms. Thomas has over 14 years of experience providing support to both IT and business users, and assisting fortune 500 companies to realize their mission through relentless and reliable delivery of high quality products and solutions. Hope started her IT career at Spyglass where she supported the first version of the Internet Browser Mosaic (now Internet Explorer) before moving on to Tellabs where she specialized in the delivery of the company's core telecommunication switch - TITAN 5500. She held roles of in software integration support and development, sales and marketing and supply chain management for the same product during her tenure at Tellabs.

Ms Thomas played a key role at Blue Cross Blue Shield where she led the development and creation of the company's software development lifecycle process using the CMMI and ITIL framework. She currently manages the company's project portfolio investment budget of over $200 million and provides financial and strategic guidance to senior executives to aid in operational and project decisions.

Amitabh Shrivastava, Business Advisor

Amitabh has 20 years of experience in the IT and ITES industry. Currently on the board (as Exec/Non-Exec) of Info-Spectrum, Robhatah Robotics, Tuple Analytics, Terracon Housing Projects, Portent Executive Search, i-BOS and Festive Caterers. Amitabh has held senior positions with HCL, Infosys, and Xansa. He handled P&Ls of business units in excess of 100 m USD each: Investor & Mentor in Digilearn, Cogent BPO, Highband, Pixen, Ssurepath, The Hiring Tool, Sanshadow IPR consultants, TitanStrike and BluePrint. He is an entrepreneur-in-residence with start-ups IndiaGames and BrainVisa.

Kirti Vaidya, Technical Advisor

Kirti Vaidya is a practitioner and author of software development concepts and processes, which are being recognized and adopted by the Project Portfolio Management industry today. Kirti is involved in the Eclipse Process Framework (EPF) project, which has published Open Unified Process (OpenUP). Covansys is donating Kirti's process work components to EPF. Kirti has authored ScrumUP, an agile process that is based on industry strength Scrum. He is also an expert in the implementation of IBM®'s Rational Unified Process® (RUP). He co-authored a two-part "RUP Implementation Guide" and has published works on "Work Components" and "Expectation Management."

Mark McGee, Sales & Marketing Advisor

Mark McGee has spent 17 years building and leading technology and IT services/staffing companies. He is currently the Vice President and Marketing Director of the central U.S. region of Harvey Nash. McGee began his career with CCC Information Services in 1989 and in 1993 moved to Affiliated Computer Services out of Dallas. He then founded BlueSuit Consulting in 1998. His Chicago area firm was named the sixth fastest growing staffing and services company in the country in the Talent Economy publication. In December 2007, Harvey Nash expanded its national presence by acquiring BlueSuit Consulting and bringing McGee on to manage its growing presence in the Midwest. McGee earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing with a minor in Economics from Eastern Illinois University.
